ד"ר ציפי פליק-זכאי הקימה ומנהלת מערך רפואי מתקדם בתחום הגנטיקה של האדם בבי"ח לגליל המערבי-נהריה.
מטפלת בזוגות ופרטים לפני ולקראת הריון (גם בבעיות פוריות והפלות חוזרות), בזמן הריון, בתינוקות וילדים עם חשד למחלה גנטית, באנשים מבוגרים עם חשד למחלה גנטית וכן במשפחות עם מחלות ממאירות (סרטן).
מספקת שירותי ייעוץ גנטי בתחומים רבים- מחלות נוירולוגיות (מע' העצבים), המטולוגיות (מח' דם), מטבוליות (חילוף חמרים), התפתחותיות, ועוד.
פועלת להעלאת המודעות לייעוץ גנטי בקהילה ולמניעת מחלות אצל זוגות בסיכון.
מרצה בכירה בפקולטה לרפואה של הטכניון. מנחה סטודנטים לתארים מתקדמים.
זכתה במענקי מחקר.
בעלת פרסומים בעיתונים מקצועיים בינלאומיים.
